We have completed the first phase of a large project to produce a rich media library application for a new start up company. The catalogue administration has been built using Flex (Flash Builder) and Zend AMF. The brief was to build a powerful rich media catalogue and key-wording engine that could be administered by a team of professionals. Cool stuff includes the concept of Keyword Topic scores. Topic Scores allow for analysis of the key wording process ensuring that keywords are not over or under assigned.
The public facing area (currently under construction) uses HTML 5, JQuery and an audio / video player that uses Flash when the HTML 5 video tag is not supported. Watch this space.
The second EVD (Electronic Versionable Document) for Novartis goes live. The Application allows for multiple people to simultaneously create localised versions of a document, containing animations, video and text. These can be ‘published’ and become standalone, net independent resources for remote learning.
TFL Cycle Superhighways demo stand at London Cycle Show 2009
Code Vanilla works with Transport for London to make an interactive bicycle stand at the London Cycle Show 2009. Users could climb onto a TFL bike and pedal through a video demonstrating the upcoming ‘Cycle Superhighways’.
